In recent years, the department has been developing the area of “Information Technologies in Project and Program Management” (Supervisor L. Nefodov , DSci (Engineering), Professor), where the search for new methods of organization, planning, management aimed at effective achieving of project goal by using modern management methods, techniques and technologies is carried out. For the past ten years, under supervision of Professor L. Nefodov 9 PhD theses were defended (T. Plugina, M. Shevchenko, O. Babenko, N. Fil, O. Osmachko, Yu. Hubin, A. Binkovska, D. Markozov, O. Kononykhin). Doctoral theses of Yu. Petrenko and M. Shevchenko have also been defended. In addition, research is conducted on the robust management of mobile robots for earthworks. Associate Professor O. Hurko defended his doctoral thesis in 2018 in this area. Over the past 10 years, scientific and technical cooperation was established with the Higher School of Transport (Bulgaria, Varna), the Belarusian National Technical ? University (Minsk, Belarus), the Institute of Engineering of National Autonomous University of Mexico, Technical University of Madrid (Spain), Vilnius Gediminas Technical University (Lithuania). 6 manuals, 3 monographs, more than 500 scientific articles and publications were published, several international conferences were held, we participated in more than 150 international scientific and practical conferences.
