The Department carried out its research work in two main fields:

• development of geometric modelling methods for process and geometric structures in engineering;
• research of training technologies in order to improve its structural elements and introduce new technologies.

 The results of research work of the Department are in annual scientific and technical reports and publications. Apart from the state budget research, the Department make projects for enterprises. Research work of the students is linked with the research done by the Department. Some our students’ reports received diplomas of various degrees. Annually our students take part in national competitions on descriptive geometry and computer graphics.
